Germfree provides primary and secondary containment within mobile and modular laboratories that serve as the foundation to support BSL-3 operations (BSL-3 labs also require proper procedures and administrative controls). Germfree will partner with you to develop proper primary containment enclosures (Biological Safety Cabinets) as well as the secondary containment configuration of the BSL-3 laboratory.

Germfree designs modular buildings that differ from traditional modular construction techniques. We don’t use wooden studs or drywall. Germfree uses all metal construction for durability and shipping integrity.

Germfree builds modular labs with monolithic floors, walls and ceilings. There are no seams, cracks or crevices where microbiological growth could occur. All corners are radiused and seamless flooring is coved up the wall for easy cleaning and to insure effective decontamination by on-board gaseous generators.

Single section labs are 14’ x 50’ and can be joined together to create larger lab spaces. Whether intended as stand-alone labs or for connection to existing facilities, Germfree’s modular labs include pre-certified HVAC systems to facilitate fast on-site set up and operation.
