Germfree’s Vertical Laminar Flow Workstations meet high standards for ultra-clean, particulate-free air. The work area is bathed with HEPA filtered air directed downward by the low profile HEPA fan filter module at the top of the unit. These freestanding units are used primarily for parts assembly and/or to house processing equipment which, due to its configuration, is best protected by vertical laminar airflow.

BV-4 VERTICAL LAMINAR FLOW WORKSTATION

Germfree’s Horizontal Laminar Flow Workstation is designed for the handling of materials wherever a sterile, particle-free work environment is required. The work area of these units is continuously bathed with positive pressure, horizontal laminar flow air that has passed through a HEPA filter. This series is unique among horizontal laminar flow clean benches because of its quiet energy-efficient operation, space saving benchtop design and 34” high work area. These all-stainless steel units are ideal for such diverse functions as electronic assembly, sterile packaging and I.V. pharmacy preparation.

BZ-4 HOIZONTAL LAMINAR FLOW WORKSTATION

The Laminar Flow Glovebox/Isolator (LFGI) provides the ultimate in both product and operator protection. The LFGI functions as a Glovebox while operating under negative pressure to meet NIOSH recommendations and as an Isolator under positive pressure to meet USP <797> regulations. HEPA filtered unidirectional (laminar) air bathes the work area to protect the product from contamination and removes any particulate generated by sample manipulation. The operator is provided a complete barrier from materials being manipulated in the work area. The LFGI Series of barrier isolators meet or exceed ISO 14644-1 Class 5 air quality. Each LFGI, before shipping, undergoes rigorous physical testing to assure the unit meets performance requirements as validated.

LFGI-4 POSITIVE PRESSURE ISOLATOR

Germfree has developed two styles of modular stainless steel Cleanrooms: stainless steel frame and stainless steel wall panel. Both are specifically designed to withstand frequent washdowns, exposure to corrosive chemicals and are resistant to chipping and shedding even in the harshest environments. Both use Germfree’s stainless steel ceiling grids to produce complete stainless steel systems. These are ideal for use in biopharmaceutical production and ultra-pure chemical processing.
