Class III Gloveboxes
Animal Transfer
|
Originally co-developed with USAMRIID (United States Army Medical Research Institute of Infectious Diseases), this innovative technology provides a new level of safety and efficiency for animal handlers, humane conditions and comfort for animals, as well as a rapid and continuous method of containment and transport for exposed and infected animals. The system greatly reduces human contact time with animals, the length of time the animal must be anesthetized, and the possibility of contaminating the environment. The transporters can dock to the Class III BSC or vivaria doors equipped with interlocking Rapid Transfer Ports (RTP), thereby eliminating containment breaches and potential animal injuries or escapes. |
